Am I eligible for arrears if I am in the notice period
30-Aug-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have been applied for resignation in August of 2018. The hike/promotion which is effective from April 1st. But the hike/promotion letter is given in mid of August and arrears will be given post that. As i am in notice period, mgmt has decided not to give hike/promotion letter and also arrears. My question is whether am i eligible to get back my arrears and letter?
Hi, If you are in the Government Service then the hike or promotion shall be applicable. If in case you are a private company employee then the policy or guidelines of promotion or increment as defined by the organization shall be applicable to you. Please go through those policy in consultation with your HR and seek assistance.
