Builder charging more interest for delayed payment before possession

Is it legal for builder to charge more incase of delayed payment before posssesion?
As per your query ;
1. Yes, If you have to delayed on payment to the builder then you face the interest on that amount otherwise delayed the possession.
2. Builder have planning to time to time work done .
3. The question is Labour , Accessories , Construction Material Booked , etc.
4. But the builder wants more interest & too much delayed then you can send the legal notice through a lawyer to the builder for want of possession & charging more interest on such amount .
