Wife living with parents for 4 years

I married Nov 2020, From June 2021,hindu wife living with parents and have one son, their parents not sending my family to live with me as we are not rich, how to overcome this problem legally? We have not seen / talked over phone for past 4 years.

You may seek restitution of conjugal rights under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, to direct your wife to resume cohabitation. Since she has not communicated for 4 years, you may also consider filing for divorce on the ground of desertion. You are also entitled to seek custody/visitation rights for your child under the Guardians and Wards Act.

Dear Client, 1.You may file a case for restitution of conjugal rights under, Hindu Marriage Act to seek reunion with your wife. If she refuses without valid reason, you may seek divorce on grounds of desertion (after 2+ years of separation). If you wish to continue living with your wife, you may proceed with a petition for restitution of conjugal rights. However, if you no longer want to continue the relationship, the appropriate step would be to file for divorce
