Wife is asking for divorce but I dont want It, what can be done?

21-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I m SM, working in private co., leaving on Rent, no property, no parents are alive. Its 2 years of my marriage & have son of 9 months. My wife is of short tempered & demanding. Since our marriage I have been forced to fulfill her demands & she always warns me of Divorce if I will not fulfill her demands. She never compromise & keep asking for money. Now because of some issues of leakage in my current ranted home she has left the home. When I tried to call her she refused to come until I change the Room. I told her its not possible as I don’t have money to spend on shifting. I need atleast 3-4 Months to shift from current room. She denies to return & told me she will not come back & will book false cases against me & my sister under domestic violence/abusing. I called her family for talk at my sisters place but they refused to visit & saying do whatever you can do we will destroy you by false cases. In this situations what should I Do. I love my wife&Child & don’t want to loose them.

First of all we have to appear in the case of domestic violence and we have to proceed the matter and and in the case of that if you are ready to cohabit with your wife and son then we have to send the domestic violence case for counselling or for mediation for talking about the compromise and settlement

Sir,
If she has threatened to file false complain repeatedly then to safeguard your interest you can file an NC with the police about the threats or send a legal notice . Secondly you have also written you love your wife & son and don't want to lose them and if changing the room is the solution and you are going to do it in afew months inform her about it. You can also approach any NGO for marriage counnselling and long term solution. If in mumbai you can contact Stree Mukti Sanghatna.
