Wife have filed FIR against husband under BNS section 85,115-2,351-2

21-Aug-2025 (In Divorce Law)
Wife have filed FIR against husband and relative under BNS section 85,115-2,351-2 Dowry prohibition act 3 & 4. Husband is working abroad and wife is in india. Husband's relative visited police station and took bail but husband haven't visited police station yet. If husband goes to the police station for investigation and bail then is there a chance that husband passport will be taken during bail and he won't be able to come back to abroad for job.

In such cases, the husband must seek anticipatory bail or regular bail from the competent court. Courts may impose conditions like surrendering passport or restricting foreign travel. However, this is not automatic in every case. You can request the court to allow him to travel abroad for his job, subject to furnishing surety and informing authorities. Immediate legal representation is strongly advised to protect his rights and to ensure his employment abroad is not affected.
