Wife does not want to give divorce and wishes to live with me

26-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Sir/Madam, 1) She has asked for multiple time for divorce and negotiated(but keeps changing her decision) and then if he pursues and tries to get divorce with mutual consent, does he have to live with her wife? Can she force him to live by filing police complaint or any other means? If he refuses to stay with her till some agreement is reached, will it amount to cruelty? He has given her access to rental room where they have been residing and paying for rent. Is that enough? (Note: If he stays with her still she keeps fighting with him and threatens with suicide and sometimes calling police.) 2) he might have telephonic proof that she is asking for divorce and they are negotiating but some reason she keeps changing her stand for wanting divorce. Can this mount to cruelty in favor of her husband? what are his options and how can she counter those. Regards,

No wife can't live forcefully with her husband without his consent for it or under any kind of mental pressure or any kind of threat to her husband.
