If the jewellery is got in Marriage to wife from either of the parties or the jewellery is taken by wife from his maternal place then it belongs to the wife. Though it is mandatory to answer in 200 words therefore I am adding all this you may please ignore the same..... ..

This is my response to you: 1. If it was part of streedhan then the wife will get the jewellery; 2. If it was common property of yours and your ex-wife then it could be shared; 3. So state more facts and then best legal opinion can be shared; 4. Consult a local lawyer to understand the situation better.

Dear queriest, As per query you have asked about jewellery after divorce who retains it, here the stridhan is obviously given to wife and other expenses regarding the jewelry is decided by the Court upon the evidence provided to whom it should be handed over
