What is the time duration for dowry case to resolve

In dowry cases if the parties are ready to resolve it by mutual settlement. It depends upon the fact that whether the section imposed in the FIR or the charges framed by Ld. MM/JM are compondable are non compoundable . if it is compoundable the parties my apply to withdraw the proceedings before trail court itself anf if the charges are of non-compoundable than you have to apply before Hon'ble High Court having teritorial jurisdiction. It totaly depends upon the work load of the courts. But it takes one or two dates before the courts to get the matter resolved.
