The best way is Divorce by Mutual Consent. Mutual consent means that both the parties agree for peaceful separation.There are different laws of divorce for different religions. A joint petition will be filed before the family court for the said purpose.

You can file a Divorce petition under mutual concent were both the parties will sign an MOU and file joint petition in family court for mutul concent divorce. It will be done in two motions. In gap of six months.

if your wife is also on the same footing and to annul the marriage with you then you can file divorce under section 13 B of the Hindu Marriage Act. for that necessary provisions of one year separation is mandatory, both you and your wife are needed to be separated for a period of an year then you can move petition under section 13 B, divorce on mutual consent. there are two stages, first motion and second motion, second motion will be moved only after 6 months of first motion. it will take altogether 1 and half year
