What is the difference between annulment and divorce is it the same
An annulment of marriage has the effect of voiding the marriage from the very beginning. This means that the marriage would not be recognized to having ever taken place.
On the other hand, a divorce is a dissolution of marriage. A divorce does not mean that the parties had never been married. The grounds for annulment of marriage and divorce are different.
