Son in law filing divorce in USA can we file case in India?

My daughter and son in law are in USA. They were in India in 2011, registered in Bangalore. Now my son in law has given a divorce notice to daughter in USA. Whether can we simultaneously file a case in India and get son in law to come to India? Does my daughter need to visit India and file a case here? Can she contest the case in USA?
They can file a divorce petition in USA provided they have got green card. If not they can file a divorce petition before the jurisdictional family court in India. Yes, your daughter's presence is need at the time of filing a divorce petition in India.
