secret marriage is it possible to find?

during college days I made a register marriage with my girlfriend, in christian marriage act due to family her situation she got married to another guy. I am not married so far. They are seeing alliance for me, Can anybody find my previous marriage?

S.Gunasekar Advocate Answer. Yes, if your register marriage was officially recorded under the Christian Marriage Act, it will be in government records. If someone does a marriage certificate search (through registrar office or online, if available), they may find it. Otherwise, it's not easily known unless revealed or legally searched.

hi, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, firstly a register marriage is not a secret marriage it is an official marriage and the second marriage done by your spouse is void, you are to file for divorce from previous registered marriage before going for another legal marriage
