I worked in a multinational company in Porur. I faced threats and heartache from my partner. Yet they are trying to ruin my life. The police also don't care about my words, they keep harassing me in my circle of friends. My partner is Hindu, so my family has kept me away from my family. Since no one helped me, so my partner's family took advantage of this. Now they have filed a missing person report at the police station. What can I do for it?

S.Gunasekar Advocate Answer. File a written statement at the concerned police station immediately, stating you are safe, not missing, and left on your own will. Mention the harassment and threats. Also, submit a copy to the Commissioner and Women’s Commission. If needed, seek legal help and file a harassment complaint.
