Precautions to be taken as husband before divorce in 1 month marriage?

Wife returned back to India leaving husband, due to disputes between bride's & groom's parents over difference in Rituals in both families and is seeking divorce:- (1) Which precautions should I take to safegaurd my property? (2) Which Legal Rights can be in favour if I lodges FIR / 498A, before bride's family files the same? (3) Can I transfer my rights on all my property to my parents without any sale consideration? (4) I have read about Sec 14 of Marriage Act, which denies divorce before 6 months? (5) Which all claims can be made by wife after marriage of 1 month as right on property? Plz

We suggest that you should first transfer the property to your parents by sale consideration. Thereafter, if you have completed one year of marriage then you can file divorce on grounds of cruelty. If she filed 498a, then you can say in your defence that it was the after thought of your divorce. Rest we suggest that you consult a local lawyer, who can advise you further based on your facts and circumstances.
