Please help me out in seeking Maintenance in Divorce

There can be chance that a girl earning 18K and men earning 50 K, cannot get any maintenance in Divorce or DVA.
If the wife is earing well, she can't claim interim maintenance, but she is entitle for maintenance under hindu marriage act. If you really want to save yourself in such proceeding , you have to some bold steps against your wife. You have to defend your case properly. Brief me full facts then only I can assist you.

Yes of course but it all depends upon the facts and circumstances of each case. The major criterias for decided maintenance are:
1. Number of children and who has their custody.
2. Duration of marriage.
3. Financial condition of the husband.
4. Educational qualification of wife and her work exp., Salary etc. as she must get the same standard of living as she was getting during the subsistence of marriage.
However I may add that the laws are a bit biased against the husband and normally some basic amount of maintenance is almost certainly fix in order to bind the husband with his legal obligation to maintain his wife.
