Physically harassed by husband what can I do

I am married from last 3 years but from beginning there are troubles in my marriage. have compromise a lot, but the things still does not work, my husband use to abuse me,hit me but still havent taken any action against him hoping everything will be fine,now he suspect me if I talk to any of my friend,& abuse, i have a daughter also, kindly give suggestions, i dont want to end my marriage but i am helpless, and i dont want to live with the person who dont respect their wife, please give suggestions, what should i do.

divorce should be extreme last option for a matrimonial disputes, specially, after birth of a child.
i advise you to settle your issues with your husband by arranging a meeting comprising of elders of both families. if still the position remains same then you can go ahead for divorce.

At this stage it is good that you do not want to end your marriage but you should also not suffer in silence. You can visit women cell of police and get your complaint registered. They have good counselors who will advise your husband to behave properly. It will also ensure you justice in case problem further increases. In case reconciliation does not work out you can approach the court for judicial separation or divorce which must be done as the last resort.

I will suggest you to kindly file for domestic violence first and take alimony from your husband since you have got one child also.
As far divorce is concerned you will get it through court, but for the future of your child and for you also. you must take alimony from him since it is the duty of every husband to maintain his wife and children.
