We would like file a mutual consent divorce. We are now in USA. We got married in Coimbatore India, moved to Bangalore. Now residing in USA. Can we file divorce online. Or if we file a case in USA will that divorce be accepted in the courts of India.

Filing of divorce online is not available in Coimbatore. There is no harm in getting a divorce in US subject, the couple being eligible in invoke the courts at US for divorce, as different jurisdictions require a period of residence within their jurisdiction to apply for divorce there. Also laws of alimony and separation of assets differ in USA and India. In India you can file at the place of marriage and physical appearance is mandatory in India. So depending on this you can file for divorce in USA or India.
