New documents introduced by petitioner in chief affidavit

Dear Sir or Madam, This is regarding gwop petition and current stage is trial. My spouse is the petitioner and she filed chief affidavit pw1 including two new documents in the list of documents. This is the first time spouse is bring these documents. Rest of the documents are from her original main petition which is fine Can new documents be included in chief affidavit with out prior permission from court?

No, no documents cannot be produced at the stage of evidence. The party needs to first move an appropriate application and can put new documents on record if the concerned court allows the said application.

No, new documents cannot typically be included in the chief affidavit without prior permission from the court. You can object to the admissibility of these new documents during the trial and request the court to exclude them unless proper leave has been obtained. Adv. Mahinder Singh Mavi
