Need to have lawyer from govt in family court - Bandra

Since my husband had filed a divorce case in Bandra family court. My husband is not paying a single penny for my daughters education and other live hood expenses so for me it’s very difficult to hire the lawyer . Kindly help me to tgram a permission to get a lawyer or procedure if I my self can fight. I m commerce graduate .

You can apply for free legal aid if you are: A woman (any woman can apply) From low income group Victim of domestic violence or harassment Belong to SC/ST category Disabled or economically weaker How to apply Go to the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) office in the district court. Fill the free legal aid application form. Submit: ID proof (Aadhaar etc.) Basic details of the case The authority will appoint a government advocate for your case in the Family Court
