need advice for Divorce proceeding issue

05-Apr-2026 (In Divorce Law)
My divorce case is nearing an ending . where both parties have submitted asset and liabilities. and the divorce case has moved to argument stage between lawyers. but when going through the asset and liabilities copy of my wife.I am finding multiple irregularities. pls suggest : 1. wait for normal proceeding to happen( which may finalize my divorce case in next 2-3 court dates) 2. file a petition to recall my wife for cross examination (and delay my divorce finalization by another 7-8 dates)

At the argument stage, if there are material irregularities, concealment, or false disclosures in the asset and liabilities affidavit of the wife, it is advisable not to ignore the same merely for early disposal. An application for recall / further cross-examination may be moved only if the discrepancies are substantial and capable of affecting alimony, maintenance, or final relief. Courts generally allow recall sparingly and only for clarification or in exceptional circumstances, so the application must clearly point out specific contradictions with supporting documents. If the irregularities are minor and do not materially affect the outcome, it may be prudent to proceed with final arguments and place the discrepancies on record through written submissions.
