My cases are in dead-lock situation as Court is looking for physical presence of Police and Police i

09-Jul-2026 (In Divorce Law)
My exparte divorce case and property ownership case both are on evidence stage as my spouse ran away with someone and all the legal actions have been done starting from lidging police report, sending notices, newspaper publication, expartee order announcement by the court etc. But stuck at Evidence level. The relevant police report was duly submitted as evidence in my property dispute case, but the Police officer left the court premises before the matter was heard by the Judge. To utilize this certified report in my concurrent divorce proceedings, the current presiding Judge of property case has mandated the officer's presence. Hence both of the cases are on on dead-lock. Any suggestion will be highly appreaciated for a frustrated petitioner like me to get rid of this deadlock situation like "chakrabuha" of Police and Court.

You can post this concise professional reply: Since your matter is at the evidence stage, your advocate can file an application seeking issuance of summons/bailable warrant to secure the presence of the concerned Police Officer. If the certified police record is admissible, you may also request the court to consider it in accordance with the Evidence Act. If repeated adjournments are causing delay, appropriate directions can also be sought from the higher court for expeditious disposal. A detailed review of the case records will help determine the best course of action.
