The query do not disclose your religion. If you are both Hindus and if your marriage had taken place in accordance with Hindu rites and customs then you are governed by Hindu law. You cannot file a case before Court for divorce unless one year had elapsed from the date of your marriage. You say you married in the month of april 2016 then you cannot file a case for dissolution of marriage now. You can file only after april 2017. You have to state proper grounds and prove the same before the Court for obtaining divorce from your wife. You and your wife need more counseling than a legal advice. A live in relationship is to be established in case of unmarried people. It is not applicable to your case. You are a married man and you accept you are maintaining a relationship outside your marriage, this will not help you to put you in any better circumstances when legality of your acts are concerned. Your wife has now grounds to obtain divorce from you in the circumstances if she intends to . I think your wife is not at all interested to give divorce to you. If you really want divorce from your wife (if the circumstances really warrants for it) then you have to prove the grounds on which you want to obtain divorce from your wife . A family matter is a sensitive issue. It affects you and the people around you. Better go for counseling.

Unless your existence marriage is dissolved, you can't get into any relationship and if any will be illegal and you may have to face criminal charges. On the ground of cruelty, you can seek divorce against your wife. For further details you may contact.
