Is it possible to confiscate my husband's passport by Family court ?

we got married on 27/5/2013 .due to the religion issue his parents not accepting for this marriage they cheated me and took money ,jewels from me.so i filed crimnal case on my husbnd and his family on 2/2/2014 with the help of chennai commissioner,he got arrested and was in jail for 22days.his family took bail and i filed DVact on 2015 and various cases like residental , maintainance,criminal and DV case on him and hisfamily.Now they all planing to escpe to abroad .do i able to secure his passport under the cusdoty of court,pls tel me procedure

If you apprehend that he is likely to escape to foreign country while a criminal case is pending against him, you can move an application to the concerned magistrate court through APP stating the apprehended issues and may request the magistrate court to instruct him to deposit his passport with court custody until the disposal of the pending case.
You consult your advocate who will draft this application and will move the same through APP.
