Ignore Comms - Mental Harassment

07-Oct-2025 (In Divorce Law)
I (hindu) live in Thailand and wife (hindu) live in Qatar, we stayed 9 yrs together in Qatar and have a 6 yr child living with me. Its been 2 yrs and I have taken full responsibility of the child. Wife is staying/working in Qatar with no responsibility of family. She stopped all comms and suddenly filed for divorce under cruelty. She keeps emailing me to connect with the child but do not want to come and meet the child(since 2 yrs). Am i legally bound to respond? Can i ignore her emails.

The husband should allow the mother reasonable communication with the child under monitored or agreed terms, file for custody in India, and pursue mutual consent divorce once custody and visitation are clearly defined.
