If the man marries his girfriend without divorcing his first wife, then he is liable to be punished under section 494 of IPC which dels with Bigamy.
Alongwith that, wife can also file for divorce on the grounds mentioned in the Hindu Marriage Act.
She is also entitled to claim maintenance for herself and children, if any.
