I have filed for divorce 1 year back . My husband has not responded

I’ve filed a divorce and my husband hasn’t even appeared or kept a lawyer . It’s over a year now . Am I eligible to get a divorce?

hope you have filed divorce after serving him.a notice and issued summons after filing divorce case. apply for another summons to be issued and even after that your husband fails to appear before the court, file an application to pass ex parte order by granting divorce. if you have filed divorce based on domestic violence and cruelty and then you may need to follow the due process and later can ask for divorce.

Firstly you need to check whether the notice to appear for the court proceeding has been received by the husband if not, you need to apply before the hon'ble court for reissue of notice secondly if the first notice is duly served upon husband and still if he is not appearing before the hon'ble court then you have to apply to the court for conducting thw proceeding ex-parte against the husband
