Husband torturing using abusive language what to do

It was love marriage in 2013 without informing parents ,and we were staying apart after marriage,but than his behavior went on being arrogant and cruel ,he started abusing ,black mailing and torturing me .I tried a lot to tackle him but now its not possible to tolerate him .I want to divorce him but he is not ready to do so and instead have started blaming me ,for his life ,he is using my message my photos and my words against me and as i wanted to get rid of him i had destroyed all his belongings ,photos and deleted every message of him ,have no proof against him ,what should i do now ?
