Husband maintaining a mistress and not our children. What to do?

Hi, I am a working women with three children living separately from my husband since two years. My husband being a central govt. employer is having a mistress and maintaining her welfare. Now i want to fight for my children maintenance from my husband. how much will i get the maintenance from him?

Madam, depending on the level of your income, living standard and overall expenditure as well as the income of your husband, standard of living and justified expenditure a case for maintenance can be made out and the court is duly empowered to grant reliefs as deemed appropriate for the maintenance of yourself and your three children

You should file applications for maintenance under Section 125 CrPC claiming maintainance on behalf of both you and your children. You may also file for divorce on grounds such as desertion and cruelty. Additional applications for interim maintenance and alimony can be filed during the tendency of the divorce proceedings.
