Filed for mutual divorce no clause for alimony can they ask it later

12-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)

A mutual Divorce is where I'm headed to. My soon-to-be-ex-wife has agreed to it with no clause of an alimony. Can the court enforce alimony? Can one person engage a lawyer and file for divorce and the papers be sent to the other half without the need for them being present when the papers are being filed?

No , U/S 125 of CrPC clause 4 wife cannot ask for maintenance she is not liable for it once the divorce is granted.
