Yes, generally after your affidavit of evidence is filed, the court will mark your documents as exhibits (if admissible) and take your evidence on record. Since the respondent has been proceeded ex parte due to refusal of summons, there is usually no cross-examination. After your evidence is closed, the matter is typically posted for ex parte final arguments and thereafter for judgment. However, the exact procedure may vary depending on the Family Court and whether the judge requires any clarification or additional evidence.

Aapne divorce petition file ki. Respondent ne summons refuse kiya, isliye court ne ex parte proceed kiya. Court ne aapse affidavit of evidence file karne ko kaha. Agli date par aam taur par: Court affidavit ko Exhibit mark karti hai aur record par leti hai. Agar respondent ex parte hi hai aur present nahi hota, to cross-examination ka mauka nahi hota, kyunki cross karne ke liye respondent ya uska advocate hona zaroori hai. Iske baad court petitioner's evidence close kar deti hai. Uske baad aam taur par: Matter final arguments ke liye list hota hai (kabhi usi din, kabhi alag date par). Final arguments ke baad court judgment reserve kar sakti hai aur phir ex parte divorce decree pass ya reject kar sakti hai. Agar respondent Order IX Rule 13 CPC ya anya upyukt provision ke tahat ex parte order set aside karwane ki application file kar deta hai aur court use allow kar deti hai, tab procedure badal sakta hai aur cross-examination ka mauka mil sakta hai. Lekin jab tak ex parte order operative hai, ordinarily cross-examination nahi hoti.
