Doubt in the Domestic Violence Act, Crl.MP and CMP difference

My mom filled DVC, the respondent given the petition against her, the heading of the petition is Crl.M.P. The Judge told that he going to pass the order, since last three hearing. But the status of case is CMP pending. When we asked our lawyer, he told that CMP and Crl.M.P both are same, Is it so?. He telling that order going to pass by the judge, that order could be cancelling of that Crl.M.P filled against my mom as its found false. My doubt is will the judge pass the order only to cancel that particular petition and restart to the original case or He would be planning for the final order. Because, we have the strong evidence against the respondent and our petitions are found true.
