You have been meted out with cruelties by both your husband and his close relatives. This is proper case for cruelties against a woman by her husband and his relatives. Also this amounts to domestic violence as well and you are entitled to many reliefs under the protection of women from domestic violence act, 2005.
You can lodge police complaint against them under section 498a before the police station within whose limits your husband's residential address falls. But since you may not have alternative residence to stay there in Chennai to follow up this case as well as domestic violence case, it is suggested that you my file domestic violence case before metropolitan court in Bangalore itself and also lodge a police complaint against him with the police station under whose limits your address falls.
