Domestic abuse by in laws what legal action can I take

19-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)

I have been married for 16 years and my husband is very understanding and cooperative. His parents forced us to leave the house after one year of mental and financial torture in 2005. We came back in 2014 and now they have again started the same torture and threatening to chuck us out of the ancestral house once again. They throw our stuff out of closets every now and then, do not allow us to use the cars for common use,do not bring basic household necessities for us when they are getting the monthly allowance from joint family business on our behalf. Please advise us on our rights.

Better to live with your husband at outside area of your in-laws house. Complaint against them will not stand in court if they are senior citizen. Your husband will inherit the property on death of in-laws if they left their property own name.
