Does wife have right to ask for separate accommodation from husband?

Does wife have right to ask for separate accommodation from husband even if there are no proper grounds to stay separate from in-laws? Does the husband has right to deny such claim?

if by separate accomodation you mean with husband then it would depend on the wife's version of the cause but to live separate from husband is not a matter of right rather it's a matter of compulsion which will upon the wife to substantiate in the court of law if the need arises. thanks & regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net Qualified), LL.B (University of Delhi), Advocate, Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
