Divorce certificate my name incorrect

Please help my name is incorrect in my divorce paper how will be change my name spelling

Section 152 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, where applicable. You would normally submit: Application/petition for correction Certified copy of the divorce decree/order Correct identity documents showing the correct name Marriage certificate, if relevant Other documents establishing the correct name An affidavit explaining the mistake The court may pass a correction order, after which you can obtain a corrected/certified copy of the decree.

If the divorce case is still pending If the incorrect spelling is in the cause title/petition/written statement, file an application for amendment/rectification of the cause title before the same Family Court/District Court. Usually, the application can be made under Order VI Rule 17 read with Section 151 CPC (where applicable), requesting the Court to permit correction of the name spelling throughout the pleadings and cause title. 2. If the divorce decree has already been passed If the final divorce decree itself contains the wrong spelling, you can generally file an application before the same Court that passed the decree seeking correction/clerical or accidental error. Depending on the nature of the error, Section 152 CPC may be relevant.
