Divorce case decided and unaffordable alimony granted by coourt

In hindu arranged marriage for last 5 years. stuck in 498 A by bride.law h as decided in favour of bride to give alumni half of the earning of the groom.he is working in state govt sector.brides family has been demanding 20 lakhs for mutual divorce. groom has filed divorce case.but brides family is seeking their benefit and not giving divorce. groom is not financially sound to pay 20lakhs. and the bride is not living with him.if you are giving solution on payment then i wil not able to pay.
Is this the alumi granted by the court or maintenance granted by the court to the bride. Kindly clarify that. as the orders have already been passed to challenge that order you may file an appeal before the Hon'ble High Court challenging the orders of the Family Court.

You can file in the upper court against this decision within the stipulated time .Basically you have to pay the maintenance till she does not go for remarriage / find means of livelihood - whereby she does not need financial support from you ; which you basically have to prove . You can have legal action against her in you got some proof with you in regard to asking for amount , blackmailing etc. .
