14-Aug-2025 (In Divorce Law)
I am 47 yrs old male. I have filed a divorce petition in family court, Chennai in Aug 2022. Now case is in trial stage. Cross examination of wife is partially done. They have filed IA for interim maintenance in 2022 and family court passed a judgement in March 2024 for Rs. 30,000 per month to be paid from Feb 2023. I have a son who is 13yrs old and staying with my wife. I obliged the order and started paying interim maintenance and as of today no money is pending. My wife side went for revision

Dear Client, 1. Since you have complied with the interim maintenance order and no arrears are pending, your wife’s revision will be heard by the higher court. You should file a detailed counter with proof of payments. 2. Continue complying with the court’s directions until final disposal. Your divorce trial will proceed independently of the revision. 3. Consult an advocate to discuss your case in brief. 4. You may schedule an appointment regarding your case by phone or email at your convenience. Thanks & regards, Priyanka Advocate Coimbatore
