Case against husband for more violence in the house

If husband creating a big violence in the house using bad words on me and my children's ..he was having extra marital affair..so in ths case what should I do

If there is immediate violence or threat, contact the police and ensure the safety of yourself and children. Consider proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 for protection orders, residence orders, custody, maintenance, and compensation. Seek interim custody and maintenance orders for the children if required.
