is it possible to get compensation or alimony before or without filing a divorce.i have a 2 year child to take care of.and no one in the family to look after the child.i want to live seperately,away from my husband,and willing to take care of my child on my own.pls suggest.

Yes. Either you can file petition for maintenance under Dv act for 125 crpc for both you n kid with our going for divorce. You can Seek further orders for residence separately n husband can pay for rent etc.
