Can I file domestic violence case along with divorce case

Along with divorce matter a woman can also file a case under domestic violence if she was physically and mentally tourchered in past.plz help regarding this act?how much this act is effective? Is this act implemented seriously even if woman is economically weak? What r the main provisions under this act?what will be the punishment in this act?In how many days the woman get justice?plz help me
Definitely you can file case under domestic voilence act. You will get relief within 1 or 2 months. And if women is economically weak then certainly court will grant some amount to you on monthly basis to maintain you.

domestic voilence is a criminal case. and
divorce case is a civil nature.
both cases are different.
u/s. 12 of D.V. act filed by wife/women before Judicial Magistrate first class. and in this case against husband or his relative is/are accused. BAILABLE OFFENSE.
u/s. 13 of HMA filed by any both of husband / wife against each other. or mutual consent. in case both ready to divorce by mutual consent, then matter is disposed near about 6 months.
