Can a woman file an adultery case at same time as divorce case

my friend was having sexual relationship with a married women. Her husband has filed divorce case against her (section 13 HMA) six months back, which is still in court. Can he still file a case against my friend. untill when he can file the case against my friend. That lady is not contesting the case because she feared that the moment she will contest he will file the case against her lover. please suggest
