Applying for divorce but both parties with different nationality

Im am indian citizen but my wife is srilankan citizen we married before 11 years in channai my Muslim community at masjid we just have a masjid paper to prove our marriage now i want to divorce my wife she is living in srilanka how we can apply for divorce We have 2 kids elder one is 10 years girl and younger one in 8 years old boy

hi alocious here, I can well understand your concern from your query raised, you can apply for divorce in any family court within the jurisdiction of India, where in you are Residing it should not be an issue that your wife is a srilankan and the decision of the court shall be binding upon both persons once the divorce is awarded, thank you
