after 3 years of separation , wife filed case for domestic violence

after 3 years of separation , wife filed false domestic violence and 498 A case on me from different city ( her parents home town ) . And I have tried multiple times to call her at my home but she is not ready to come .I got call from women cell for counselling . what whappen in the counselling and what should be the next step .

Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty. —Whoever, being the husband or the relative of the husband of a woman, subjects such woman to cruelty shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine.
