5 months of marriage wife threatening to file for divorce

21-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Its been only 5 months of my marriage. In only 10 days my wife started fighting with me and my parents, we called her parents to talk to come and talk to her but they didnt come. every month she started fighting on very silly matters. Due to this behavior there is no physical relationship between us. My parents and her parents talked and decide to give one more chance to this marriage. Everything was going smoothly and I also start having feeling for her, suddenly 2 days back again she fought and started abusing my father and me. When we try to talk to her she said, she will go to Police and complaint, she also threaten us that she will kill herself and close the door. I really dont continue this marriage. My father talked to a advocate, he advised that we can not file Divorce before one month of Marriage. I am scare she will do fake complaint against us. Pls tell me what should I do?

Ofcourse she may lodge a Police Complaint if she has decided, but you really think she is going to visit police station then you and your family i suggest to file NC against her and her family. By your statement it seems she is no more interested in continuing this relationship. Think and discuss with your family members, elders about this and take further step accordingly.

Sir,
You can file for Divorce only after a year of marriage ,in the meantime you can file an NC with the nearest police station putting on record her threats to commit suicide and her unreasonable behaviour .This will serve as defence for you in case she file domestic violence case against you and your parents.
