What to do my neighbors keep on throwing garbage on my door

My female neighbor (aged 40±), has been throwing her house garbage in front of my door, by crossing society's road at midnight. I made video of this wrong act and opposed the lady. But she started abusing me and her son (aged 18+) did scuffle with me. Additionly, her son parks his bike at my door and try to peep into my house. My wife opposed it but he continued. Next day of scuffle, my father called her husband on mobile but he threatened him with dire consequences. Then I and my wife lodged FIR. Later the police called neighbors separately, enquired them and telling me settle the matter outside. I don't want to do so. I fear, this will encourage them. What should I do?
When once time its fir lodged than cant to do compromise in out side of court bcz this case is go away in court and further process in court do action but if this types of offence too continue than filed a complaint against him and if you require than call me and contact me
