Hello,

It is difficult to take action against the landlord in the absence of RENTAL AGREEMENT in case the landlord suddenly increases rent and asking you to vacate the house if you cannot pay the rent. In your case, as there is no Rental Agreement, your landlord is not bound to give you advance notice before he increases the rent or to vacate the house and you cannot take any legal action against your landlord for doing so but to quietly vacate the house if you cannot pay the rent.
