If the allegations are proved before the Court, the accused persons may face imprisonment and fine under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and punishment can vary from a few months to several years depending upon the exact offences framed, gravity of injuries/damage caused, and common intention of all accused persons. The complainant should preserve the original video, photographs, CCTV footage (if any), medical documents, and names of witnesses. If police do not take proper action, a complaint petition before the Magistrate or representation to higher police authorities may also be filed.

Dear Client, Since an FIR has already been lodged for stone pelting, you should also seek protection of your possession before the SDO Court. If a Status Quo order is granted, neither party can alter the existing condition of the property or interfere with possession. Provide a copy of the order to the local police. Any violation of the court's direction can be reported immediately for appropriate legal action. Keep all evidence, including FIR copy, photographs, videos, and witness details, safely preserved.
