Section 8 Prevention of Corruption ACT - PC Act Complaint after 7 days

07-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
If the complainant complains of bribe after the expiration of period of 7 days and there is no demand or acceptance after the said incident. Also the case is not of the nature of graft. The the amount in question is digital transaction on the date of incident. Now will there be any liability on me as a complaint under section 8 of PC act as I reported the matter after 16 days of the said incident. Will the court make me an accused as the FIR has been registered in the case.

if you know that the transaction nature is not of grafting and u have the transaction through digital but if you have apprehension of getting arrested as FIR is registered then you file for Anticipatory bail in the court
