Section 149 notice given by our neighbor

Hi,
My neighbour who are our relatives has well have issued a notice of section 149.
There have been multiple fights between us regarding petty issues, due to which they have now sent us this notice. In return we have also sent the same notice to them.
I need your help as to how do we prevent ourselves from this, if anything happens or even doesn't happen they will misuse this. We have to live everyday in fear. As this will become our everyday phenomena.
We want to secure ourselves from any police case

Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned about the fact that your neighbor who are your relatives too have sent you a notice u/s 149, wherein you have been involved in petty fights, but if they were petty fights then they would have not taken this step for the same and if they are your relatives then you should mutually settle the issue instead taking some extreme step.
