Sales executive made fraud took money in fraud ac

Contacted a firm for installation of door & window. They send a representative/ sales person. The sales person took order & money in upi but didn't processed it now he is absconding and firm raises hand. Said u deal with him take now talk to him

You can book both the salesperson as well as the firm for cheating and cyber fraud. The company cannot shirk it's responsibility as it will be held vicariously liable for the offence of cheating too. You can lodge a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal or call on Cyber helpline number 1930. Also lodge a complaint with the local Cyber PS or police station.
